AI Girlfriend App Currencies Decoded

By Priya Raman, Digital Payments Analyst

LuckyLove AI coins never expire, and that one rule sets them apart from Candy.ai's monthly tokens. Every action has a published coin price: 1 for a message, 15 for a delivered photo, 30 for a photo turned into a clip. Other AI girlfriend apps price in tokens, credits or Neurons, often on top of a plan that renews. Here is what each currency buys and where the exchange rate hides.

What One LuckyLove AI Coin Buys

A single message is the base unit. Everything else on the billing page is priced as a multiple of that coin, so on this AI girlfriend app you can total a session before you start it.

Message1No
Delivered photo15Yes
Photo animated into a clip30Yes

Coins arrive three ways. Registration adds 15, a daily bonus claimed from the chats page climbs to 30 over a full streak, and packs come in 100, 200 and 500. Bonus coins have no cash value.

Coins, Tokens, Credits and Neurons Side by Side

Five apps sell a named unit, and each one hides a different catch. Placed side by side, the pattern is clear: most currencies ride on a subscription instead of replacing one.

AppCurrencyHow you get itThe catch
LuckyLove AICoins15 free, daily bonus, packs of 100 to 500USD pack prices shown only at checkout
Candy.aiTokens100 a month with PremiumExpire monthly, per-action costs unpublished
NomiCredits40 for $4.99 up to 1800 for $99.99Sold separately from the $15.99 plan
KindroidSelfies and audio credits5 selfies, 5,000 audio credits in a one-time previewPreview ends, then read-only
EVA AINeurons500 for $9.992 Neurons to read one romantic message

Replika and Character.AI lean on subscriptions rather than a published unit price. Replika's US App Store prices run from $7.99 to $89.99 with no public mapping to its Pro, Ultra and Platinum tiers. Character.AI sells c.ai+ at $9.99 a month and c.ai lite at $4.99.

Which Currencies Expire

Candy.ai's do, every month. Candy.ai's subscription page pairs unlimited text with 100 tokens a month, and those tokens lapse if unused, so a quiet month on that AI girlfriend app is money left on the table.

Coins on LuckyLove AI sit at the other end. Unused coins do not expire, and they survive the end of a Premium term, when the account drops back to free. That changes how you buy. A 500-coin pack carries no use-it-or-lose-it pressure, so the larger pack is a fair choice even for someone who chats only on weekends.

Hidden Exchange Rates

Candy.ai and LuckyLove AI each leave one link out of the chain from dollars to actions. Candy.ai prints its dollar prices but does not publish per-action token costs. LuckyLove AI does the reverse: every action has a fixed coin price, yet the USD cost of the 100, 200 and 500 packs appears only at checkout and can vary by region.

EVA AI is the exception, with numbers that chain all the way through. Five hundred Neurons cost $9.99 and reading one romantic message costs 2, so a pack covers 250 romantic messages, or roughly 4 cents each. That clarity comes with an irony: EVA AI's terms ban sexually explicit content, yet romance itself sits behind the Neurons paywall.

For LuckyLove AI, the honest workaround is to open checkout, note the price shown for your region, and divide. Until that number is on screen, any cost-per-message figure for its packs is a guess.

Currency Plus Subscription

Most of these AI girlfriend apps charge twice. Candy.ai needs Premium for its tokens, Nomi sells credits beside an auto-renewing plan, and EVA AI sells Neurons next to memberships priced from $11.99 to $24.99 a month.

Photos and clips carry a double gate on LuckyLove AI, and that double charge is where the model is weakest. Both require Premium and still cost 15 and 30 coins each. Messages, gifts and character creation skip the subscription entirely, though.

The difference lies in the renewal. Premium is a fixed term of 1, 3 or 6 months with no auto-renewal, so a lapsed plan cannot keep billing, and the coins on the balance outlive it.

When Spent Coins Come Back

Automatically, whenever a paid action fails. The billing page returns coins when a charged message cannot be saved, when a photo or clip fails to generate or deliver, or when a character cannot be created. A failed reply can also be retried for free.

Refunds of purchased coins are a different matter. They run by email to support, a person decides, and coin purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise, as the Terms of Service set out. Crypto payments are final.

More Questions, Answered

Do LuckyLove AI bonus coins have cash value?

No. The billing page says daily bonus coins have no cash value, and bought coins are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise, so plan to spend them inside chats.

How many coins do I get for free on an AI girlfriend app like LuckyLove AI?

Fifteen at registration, then a daily bonus that grows with consecutive claims up to 30. Missing a UTC day resets the bonus to its smallest amount.

Are Candy.ai tokens the same as coins?

No. Candy.ai tokens come as a monthly allowance with Premium and expire, while LuckyLove AI coins are bought in packs and stay on the account with no expiry.

Can I spend coins without a subscription?

Yes, on messages, gifts and new characters. Only photos and photo-to-clip animation need Premium, a fixed 1, 3 or 6-month term that never renews by itself.

How fast do bought coins arrive?

Usually within minutes. Card payments confirm within moments, while crypto waits for network confirmation before the coins are credited.
